Day One continued

Meant to insert picture from out balcony, but haven't figured out the picture thing yet. Stand by for that.

Meanwhile, once landlady departed, Deana, Blair and Tim collapsed on beds and Leila unpacked. Leila couldn't make the nap thing work for her, so after about 1 1/2 hours, she nudged Tim out of his stupor and they headed for the beach for their first swim.
Rocky beach, breaking waves at edge, but managed to flop in once past the breaking zone. Water nice, very much like East Beach in Westport.
After nice swim, back to apartment for shower and exploration of cafes on the sidewalk. Settled for one right in front of our building, had a couple of beers, small offering of nuts, including pistachios, which Tim almost broke a tooth over. Then headed up street for a quick grocery shopping, including ice, cheeses, crackers, and assorted decadent articles.

Stashed groceries in our little kitchen, had a drink or two, tried to read, then went to bed early, around 8:00. Deana and Blair still not having stirred from their naps.
